Providing Homes with Wounded Warrior Homes
Nikki Klugh is proud to serve on the board of this wonderful non-profit organization. Wounded Warrior Homes is a grassroots charitable non-profit chartered to provide transitional housing to single post-9/11 combat veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). We are citizens, like you, who deeply care about our nation and appreciate the sacrifices of those who have served in armed conflict to protect our country, our nation’s interests, our people and those in other nations.
Serving Dinner at Ronald McDonald House
Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children – a long time to be away or to divide a family. And, for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support. A Ronald McDonald House is that “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. Nikki helps to serve meals for families and patients.
Building Homes with YWAM
Youth With A Mission is an inter-denominational, non-profit Christian, missionary organization. Founded by Loren Cunningham and his wife Darlene Cunningham in 1960, YWAM’s stated purpose is to “know God and to make Him known”. Nikki and the entire NKDG team love the entire process of this community outreach.
