Travel Season is upon us!!

If you are spending time in the airport or on a plane this holiday season here are a few tips about making travel easier:

> Wear all black. Nobody likes showing up to their destination with stains from spills that occur while rushing through the airport.

> Have a Go Bag ready at all times. No, this isn't about an apocalypse, it's just about having one less thing to pack the night before (or day of) your trip.

> Check your credit card for perks. You don't have to have an airline's credit card to get rewarded at the airport. Check and see if you can add any luxuries to your travel time.

> Download shows and movies inside your streaming apps BEFORE you get to the airport. Airlines are changing their entertainment offerings on board, so you want to make sure that you have some loaded on your device just in case.

2024 has seen an uptick in focusing on lines and curves.

Furniture, rugs, patterns, etc. have put more stock into creating something for your eye to follow - just depends if you prefer curvy or straight.

If your design style leans more Modern, minimalist, and industrial then you will typically love the sleekness of straight lines.

Think sharp angles and architectural details crafted with precision. These straight lines can create a sense of order and simplicity, making your space look refined and organized.

This console used in a client's home in Washington, D.C. gave her rich colors and texture, but also fed her love for order and organization.

I just returned from a quick trip to San Diego.

This trip was full of client meetings and driving around in my old stomping grounds - truly do miss living there.

But all the driving around made me realize in the past few months my team and I have secured 5 clients in the area with a variety of needs.

> A widow that is ready to transform her entire home to help herself and her daughters move through a time of tragedy

> A past client that is ready to completely renovate their main bedroom and bathroom suite to allow them to age in place

> An international couple that need their home in San Diego to reflect their new lifestyle and travel schedule

> A client looking for paint and wallpaper selections along with project management services to keep the stress off her shoulders

> A client that is looking for real-time numbers and timelines for their home renovation - leaning on our team to do the research to provide them with this information.

PHEW! I'm exhausted just saying all of that, but it's a good exhausted.
