Full Home Re-Design in Eastlake, CA
CLIENT’S NEEDS:
Our client had been in their home for over 20 years and all of the upgrades kept getting pushed to side due to their busy lifestyle. They were trying to make decisions on their own, but couldn’t get their design style nailed down. They brought home almost 1,000 different flooring options from Home Depot and still couldn’t make a decision they were excited about.
Their realtor referred NKDG to help with their needs and their first choice was to work with us through our Designer on Retainer service. This hourly service allows clients to pull NKDG when they need help with a decision or direction. After a couple of meetings, they decided that they really wanted us to take over the entire project and make all of the material selections.
PROJECT SCOPE:
Make all of the material selections for the kitchen the flooring, three bathrooms and furnishings. Upgrade staircase and entryway as well.

- Keep countertops they had already chosen for the kitchen and use it in several places to cut down on cost
- Define their vision for the house to choose the right color flooring and paint to create cohesive spaces
- Create a spa like feel in their bathroom through modernizing and upgrading features
- Give the staircase a makeover to create a grand entrance into their home
